Making sustainability profitable
Chaincraft has developed a patented technology for the sustainable production of biobased chemicals.
With their technology, they produce selectively medium chain fatty acids (MCFA) with 5 to 9 carbon atoms from low value organic waste streams. MCFA can be used for e.g. lubricants, plasticizers, polymers and paint. Their innovation creates a connection between the organic waste/agricultural industry and the chemical industry.
Chaincraft offers the chemical industry a sustainable supply of scarce biochemicals at a low cost, which is competitive to the cost associated with MCFA’s derived from petrochemicals or vegetable oils. Chaincraft offers companies in the organic waste/ agricultural industry a technology to valorise their organic waste streams with a higher profit return.
