The CATAL1.5°T Initiative, funded jointly by BMZ and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) intends to support small enterprises with strong climate mitigation potential, called ‘climate ventures’. EIT Climate-KIC is opening a call for proposals for the organisation of Climathons in 8 countries in West Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Niger, Senegal, Togo, and Mauritania.

Provision of a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software as a service, to provide a centralised common toolset for managing Projects, Programs and Portfolios, providing key core functionality including Project planning/scheduling, Gantt charts and Kanban Boards, Project Management logs, reporting & dashboards, Portfolio Management & Planning, Resource Planning & Management, Project budget and financial tracking amongst others, in a modern solution, that is highly configurable out of the box. This should also include the provision of implementation services for an initial MVP implementation in a Phase 1, followed by a Phase 2 focusing on integration between the PPM toolset with our other existing internal business systems.

We are looking to work with a supplier who specialises in providing GHG emissions accounting services and developing effective emissions reduction strategies, to conduct a thorough inventory of EIT Climate-KIC’s GHG emissions (scope 1,2,3) and develop a carbon reduction strategy and a set of management recommendations to help the organisation and its value chains to achieve its ambitious targets.

In support of our work, EIT Climate-KIC has developed a wide range of learning resources, a selection of which is currently hosted on a Moodle Workplace and mobile application that was developed in September 2021. We are looking for a supplier that can support the continued offering of our learning activities through the hosting and maintenance this learning platform. Services include regular updating and support, as well as potentially the development of new courses or functionalities where needed.

We are looking to engage two Learning Coaches based in India. Learning Coaches will be required to contribute to the design, facilitation, coaching, and delivery of the Circular Economy Journey - a two-weeks residential training programme delivered in Bengaluru in July 2024. EIT Climate-KIC and its partners GrowthAfrica and SecondMuse are seeking to commission an evaluation of their project “Creating Circular Economy Innovation Clusters” for the cities of Nairobi, Kenya and Bengaluru, India. The selected provider is expected to conduct a process evaluation that includes both cities where the project is being implemented, running from June 2024 until the expected end of the project in December 2025.
