De Gezonde Stad (The Healty City)

(‘The Healthy City’) is a foundation with a mission to make Amsterdam more sustainable. Together with their community of local residents and other frontrunners, they start projects and organize events that have a positive and sustainable impact in the city.

In their activities, they focus on making the city more climate resilient and circular. By adding green, the city becomes more resilient to extreme weather conditions, as well as more livable and biodiverse. By separating waste, it can be used as resources for new products. In this way, they are closing the loops in the city.
