Zaragoza City Council is the local authority responsible for the administrative and political management of Zaragoza (Spain), the capital of Aragon and Spain‘s 5th largest Spanish city in terms of population and economic activity. With 714,058 inhabitants, the city is home to 73% of the whole regional population. Zaragoza, strategically located, is an established strong logistics hub and it is also a privileged area for renewable resources, such as sun, wind or water.

Zaragoza aims for a multi-stakeholder governance process to achieve innovative and replicable solutions able to that exponentially accelerate decarbonization rates, and substantially increase the commitment to a process of systemic change.
