FoPo gives ugly fruits a second chance.
FoPo collects fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste because they differ in shape or size or are too ripe for retail. Then FoPo dries and powderizes them to create a range of natural, nutritious and sustainable fruit or vegetable powders.
The powder has prolonged shelf-life from 2 weeks to 2 years, 90% preserved nutrition and simple logistics. Despite being almost wasted, the fruits are 100% safe for human consumption and just as nutritious and tasty as conventional produce.
FoPo reduces carbon dioxide emissions and prevent water, energy and agricultural land from going to waste. FoPo also provides additional income for farmers in developing countries who cannot sell up to 80% of their produce due to retail aesthetic standards.
