Call for Expressions of Interest: Innovations for More Sustainable Dairy Production
Details
Climate KIC, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), Ornua and Dairy Research Ireland, invites Expressions of Interest for innovations that can contribute to a more sustainable and climate-resilient Irish dairy sector.
This call is seeking technologies, services and systems that can support reductions in methane and nitrous oxide emissions. Areas of interest include enteric methane solutions, feed additives and ingredients, manure-management technologies, fertiliser innovations, nutrient-management technologies, nitrogen-use efficiency solutions, and soil and grassland innovations.
Innovations may be classified as:
- Ready Now: Commercially available, approved or already in use.
- Ready Future: Near-market solutions requiring further validation, testing or stakeholder input.
- Concept: Early-stage ideas requiring proof of concept or commercial framing.
The submissions will inform future Innovation Dialogues and innovation-mapping activities. Selected innovations may be invited to participate in further discussions and stakeholder engagement.
This is an information-gathering and engagement process only; it is not a funding or procurement call.
