Links Foundation

LINKS Foundation (Leading Innovation & Knowledge for Society) is a non-profit private research institute based in Turin, Italy. It was established in 2016 by Compagnia di San Paolo and Politecnico di Torino with the aim of fostering technological and socio-economic progress through applied research.

LINKS develops cutting-edge technologies and innovative processes applied to real-world cases, adopting an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary, and problem-solving approach to address the challenges posed by digital transformation and its impact on society and the environment.

The Foundation draws on the expertise of approximately 200 researchers who work in close collaboration with industry, academia, and public authorities. LINKS holds a prominent position in the field of Research & Development (R&D) in both Italy and Europe and has extensive experience in European research projects, both as coordinator and partner, as well as in providing consultancy services.

LINKS is an active member of more than 20 European networks and associations, including: CCAM partnership, ERTICO – ITS Europe, AIOTI – Alliance for Internet Of Things Innovation, BDVA – Big Data Value Association and the “New Mobility services” Initiative of EIP-SCC (European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities), Eurohealthnet.
