Workshop on wildfire nature-based solution implementation

Join us on 25 November from 9:00 to 13:00 CET for an in-person workshop to advance the identification, evaluation and application of nature-based solutions (NbS) for the prevention of forest fires in the Valencia region.

The workshop will take place at Centre Internacional de Gandia. Universitat de València (Carrer Tossal, 8, 46701, Gandia, Spain), and is organised by Climate KIC as a collaboration between our projects DesirMED and ReADAPT, under the EU Mission Adaptation.

The workshop will enable local actors representing different sectors to work together and start building a portfolio of innovative solutions to prevent forest fires, as well as analysing their implications from technical, social, economic and governance perspectives.

The insights gathered will be shared and promoted among Climate KIC’s network of over 200 European regions, contributing to the development of regional adaptation pathways and comparative analysis at European level.
