Webinar: Towards Solutions for Landscape Restoration Finance at Scale

LOCATION
Online
DATE
1 June 2021 - 7pm CET

As part of the launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, this high-level event — organized by the 1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People initiative’s Landscape Finance Solutions — will discuss findings from extensive consultations with landscape financiers and serve as a survey of practice in landscape finance action. This event will showcase innovative new approaches to landscape-scale finance, from both the ‘demand’ side of landscape partnerships increasing capacity to build investable ‘portfolios’ of landscape investments, and from the ‘supply’ side of what innovative financiers are developing now.

A landscape partnership with a developing integrated investment portfolio will demonstrate what investments into restoration at scale can look like. A leading private financial institution will demonstrate new approaches they are applying in the field. The event will outline a strategy for scaling landscape finance during the UN Decade.

Emma Harbour, Director of Advocacy and Themes, Rainforest Alliance
