TERRAenVISION 2025 is an international conference bringing together scientists, policymakers, industry leaders and financial institutions to explore how we can co-create transformational pathways that respect planetary boundaries. The event provides a platform for interdisciplinary exchange, with sessions connecting global frameworks – including the Sustainable Development Goals, the Green Deal, and the UN Climate Conventions – to practical and scientific innovation on the ground.

Climate KIC is a key participant in this year’s edition, with Saskia Keesstra (Designer & Producer, Land Use Transformation), serving on the organising committee, and other colleagues contributing insights and expertise from two key initiatives:

  • ESPON-funded ReAdapt Project
    Presentation: “Making NbS work for transformational adaptation at the local level: What can we learn from comparative approaches?”

  • Irish Deep Demonstration Project
    Presentation: “Using Policy Innovation to Scale Biochar as a Nature-Based Solution for Climate-Resilient Land Management: Insights from Ireland”
