Tech for a sustainable future

LOCATION
Online
DATE
20 June 2022 from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm CEST

Infineon Technologies is hosting a series of events about the role and potential of technology for current and future generations. This year’s series is themed “tech for a sustainable future”, and Andrew Green, Partnership and Network at EIT Climate-KIC, will participate in one of the panel discussions, together with experts from Infineon Technologies, Heirloom and Student Energy.

A sustainable future for our planet – and for society – is a key talking point in business, politics and civil society. International conferences strive to set goals and clear directions to mitigate the damage society and industry is inflicting on the planet. Although deadlines and guidelines for reaching those climate goals have been defined, the “how to” is not quite as clear. What is clear, however, is the fact that the tech industry will play a key role in reaching ambitious climate goals. Tech for a sustainable future will bring together experts and leaders to address the pressing issues facing society today and explore insights and solutions.

Attend the livestream – live from Munich – and participate in the moderated Q&A, on 20 June 2022 from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm CEST. Participation will be via streaming page, which will be activated from June and can be accessed via this link.

No registration is necessary.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Greg Williams (Editor-in-chief, WIRED UK).

The experts are: Shashank Samala (CEO, Heirloom), Helen Watts (Senior Director, Student Energy), Andrew Green (Partnership and Network, EIT Climate-KIC) and Andreas Urschitz (Member of the Management Board, Infineon Technologies).
