DATE
30 Sep - 1 Oct 2019

An intensive 2-day training program for climate entrepreneurs

Linking in with South Summit in Madrid, this is a must-attend event for entrepreneurs seeking networking and investment opportunities.

This transformational workshop is designed to boost participants in their journey to become change makers in the climate field and help start-ups find AIR (Accelerators, Investment, Revenue) for maximum impact. We introduce participants to key entrepreneurial traits and provide hands-on training in high-impact entrepreneurship to help ensure their climate company is prepared for next steps into financial investment and/or recurring revenue.

The two-day workshop will focus on refining and developing your knowledge of your Customers, Markets & Products (Day 1), followed by how you will accelerate your growth with Funding, Scaling & Impact (Day 2). Participants develop their creative capacity, entrepreneurial confidence, and acquire the skills to build scalable ventures that solve real global problems.

Participants should also be open to new ideas, presenting to each other, engaging in honest self-reflection, and stepping outside their comfort zone.

Objectives

After the two-day session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how the key principles of entrepreneurship, impact and scaling relate to their climate companies.
  • Understand the principles of customer development and learn how to make the most of their time with customers.
  • Utilise new skills and methods to effectively review & assess customer, user and market opinion & feedback with empathy.
