This workshop will bring together representatives from industry, academia and public bodies to collaborate together to innovate against the threat of climate change.
Programme
The CITIES (Centre for IT-Intelligent Energy Systems in cities) community and other Nordic Cities will provide inspiration with a series of presentations on ‘Toolbox for Smart Cities’.
Climate-KIC will lead an action-oriented workshop with the objective of:
- Clarifying climate challenges relevant to Nordic cities
- Creating candidate project ideas to address these challenges
- Matching project ideas with funding opportunities
- Identifying potential consortia who will, together with Climate-KIC, progress the project proposals
Session 1 on Tuesday 1 September 2015 starts at 10.30, to allow attendees to travel to Copenhagen that morning.
Session 2 on Wednesday 2 September 2015 starts at 8:30 and ends at at 16:00.

Cost
The workshop is free of charge and includes dinner on the evening of 1 September 2015.

Copenhagen is very busy at this toime of year and it is a good idea to book your accommodation as soon as possible.
