Exploring Fundamentally Different CEE Futures for Just Transition

LOCATION

DATE
21 October from 12:00 – 14:30 CET

EIT Climate-KIC is organizing a kick-off meeting of this year’s edition of the CEE Community Lab initiative. We kindly invite organizations actively involved in the community-driven transformation of coal regions and their transition towards more sustainable societal and economic models to the CEE Community Lab: Exploring fundamentally different CEE futures for just transition.

The CEE Community Lab aims this year to empower local actors of change in four coal-based regions of Poland, Czechia and Romania to explore how futures literacy capacity can help them to imagine a wider range of futures for the CEE region so that they are able to identify innovative pathways forward to ensure sustainability.

If your organization is actively involved in the community-driven transformation of coal regions and their transition towards more sustainable societal and economic models, we offer a learning journey, which will help you to innovate your project ideas, find collaboration partners and get micro-funding grants to kick-start the project.

In the longer term, we aim to create an open platform for like-minded professionals and communities of practice from all CEE countries who would like to connect, share their experience, collaborate and innovate in their local ecosystems.

Join our meeting to share your insights about just transition and to find out about collaboration opportunities and upcoming events!
