European Ocean Days 2026
European Ocean Days 2026 brings together policymakers, researchers, regional and local authorities, industry and civil society to advance collective action for healthy oceans, seas and waters. Hosted by the European Commission, the annual event week provides a platform to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships and accelerate implementation of Europe’s ocean and water priorities, including the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters.
Taking place in Brussels from 2–6 March 2026, the programme spans multiple thematic sessions, workshops and stakeholder dialogues focused on marine governance, innovation, community engagement and place-based solutions across Europe’s sea and river basins.
Climate KIC contributes to European Ocean Days through its role in the CO-WATERS consortium, the Coordination and Support Action implementing the Coalition of cities, regions, islands and ports for the Mission Ocean and Waters.
