Community CONNECT: Addressing the Green Skills Gap

LOCATION
Zoom
DATE
16:00 - 17:00 CET

Right now, only one in eight workers possess the green skills needed to support the transition to a safe and just future where we live within planetary boundaries. This skills gap is holding us back and slowing down the progress we so urgently need.

Join the new Community Connect powered by Climate KIC Community on Wednesday 7 May as we present Climate KIC’s latest educational initiative, the Climate KIC Academy, and discuss the need for both technical and transversal skills in the future besides foundational knowledge of climate.

We will dive into systems thinking practice and through a series of working exercises and prompt questions, break out into group work and explore where we can question our own practices and assumptions and what we need to consider when working with a climate leadership mindset.

In this event you will:

  • Learn and develop the climate leadership skills and mindsets needed in times of uncertainty
  • Understand how you and your organisation can become partners and collaborate in the Climate KIC Academy
  • Engage with fellow impact professionals to explore opportunities and discuss the future of climate action
