Join us to share knowledge, insights and challenges working with circularity and collaborate with us as we will seek new business opportunities and discuss the future path of circularity in Slovenia and beyond

Since October 2022, Climate KIC and the Slovenian Government have worked together to support Slovenia in transforming and decarbonising its economy and society by promoting a circular transition. A dedicated Deep Demonstration programme is to be completed by the end of 2025. 

Programme completion process coincides with this year’s Circular Economy Hotspot conference to be held from 10 to 12 September 2025 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and hosted by the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy and Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport.  

On this occasion, we are looking forward to hosting one of the thematic sessions on the legacy of the Deep Demonstration program and the opportunities for the future of circularity in Slovenia – in cooperation with Slovenian Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy and Ministry for Public Administration at Circular Economy Hotspot – Slovenia 2025 Conference in Ljubljana.

Join us for an interactive session on 11 September where stakeholders and partners will share knowledge, insights, challenges working on systemic mainstreaming of circularity as a lever for decarbonisation in the Slovenian Deep Demonstration programme.   

We are inviting private and public stakeholders, industry representatives, policymakers, and all leaders and frontrunners within circularity to attend the Circular Economy Hotspot Slovenia 2025 conference and to participate in Climate KIC Community CoLab in Slovenia to collaborate with us while we seek to explore new business opportunities and discuss the future of circularity in Slovenia.  

 

In this collaborative session, you will:

  • Listen to learnings, insights and more coming from our multi-year experience working in Slovenia
  • Discuss new business opportunities in the circularity and bioeconomy sector
  • Co-design a way forward for Slovenia and beyond to continue fostering innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurship for systemic climate action
