Climate KIC CEO Dr Kirsten Dunlop will participate in Tapping the Urban Mine: Incentivizing & Scaling Critical Mineral Supply Chains, an event organised by the Circular Supply Chain Coalition and Baker Botts. Taking place at Baker Botts, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York between 17:30–20:00, the session brings together leaders from business, policy, and civil society to explore how urban mining can strengthen critical mineral supply chains.

The discussion will address the barriers and opportunities in establishing remanufacturing networks, highlight the role of incentives and procurement in accelerating reuse, and examine how SMEs and local communities can be integrated into circular supply systems. Insights will be shared from both Europe and North America, with a focus on policy pathways, geopolitical context, and opportunities for competitiveness at the state level.
