2x Global Summit 2025: Women Driving Resilience

Climate KIC will attend the 2X Global Summit 2025, taking place from 2–4 September in Manila, Philippines. Co-hosted with the Asian Development Bank, this annual gathering brings together members and partners of 2X Global to advance meaningful actions that close the gender financing gap. Since 2018, the community has mobilised over US$30 billion in gender lens investments, driving collective impact worldwide.

Under the theme “Women Driving Resilience”, this year’s summit highlights women’s adaptability and innovation as powerful forces for addressing global challenges – from climate change and digital transformation to shifting geopolitical realities.

Climate KIC will be present at the session “GLI in LAC: Opportunities, Challenges and Instruments being developed”, led by Pro Mujer and IDB Invest.

The session explores how Latin America’s bold leaders and pioneering organisations are advancing gender-smart finance and women’s economic empowerment. Through panel exchanges and roundtable discussions, participants will engage with insights from the region’s unique challenges and innovative solutions, and reflect on how these lessons can be applied globally.
