Agriculture, forestry and other land uses represent 24 per cent of global greenhouse gases emissions, second only to the global energy sector.

Integrated approaches to land use that connect urban and rural, and that bring together stakeholders along the value chain are needed. We work to advance sustainable, resource-efficient, low-carbon agriculture, stimulate a bio-materials market, and strengthen the carbon sequestration capacity of forests.
