Katapult Future Fest 2026
Climate KIC joins Katapult Future Fest (KFF) 2026, a non-profit movement and impact festival in Amsterdam that brings together founders, investors, artists, technologists and visionaries to explore what becomes possible when diverse actors step into transformation together.
Now in its ninth year, KFF weaves together systemic investing, deep technology, nature, place and culture towards a shared vision: a regenerative, thriving future society for all. It is, in the organisers’ own words, a collective chrysalis, where the old dissolves and the new takes root.
Our CEO Kirsten Dunlop is speaking at the following session:
Beyond resilience: Community as catalyst
Radical collaboration and systemic transformation in the age of polycrisis
This session takes place on Investor Day, which is accessible to Investor Badge holders only. The Investor Badge is reserved for wealth holders, impact VCs, family offices, foundations and financial intermediaries, and includes access to the full festival programme on 28–29 May.
We are living through a polycrisis, a convergence of climate, economic, social and political disruptions that no single institution, sector or strategy can navigate alone. Resilience, as a goal, is no longer enough. The question is not how we absorb shocks, but how we build the collective capacity to transform the systems generating them.
In this session, Kirsten explores the role of community as the missing catalyst in systems change, and what it means to move from fragmented responses to radical collaboration that can operate at the pace and scale the moment demands. Drawing on Climate KIC’s work across bio-regions and cities, she will make the case for a new investment logic: one that backs not just solutions, but the conditions for transformation to take hold.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A with Tharald Nustad.
