How to Evolve – Global Book Tour

How To Evolve Global Book Tour Copenhagen
LOCATION
BLOXHUB, Copenhagen, Denmark
DATE
11-12 May 2026

What if the strategies we rely on to tackle complex problems are actually making things worse?

That’s the central provocation of ‘How to Evolve’, the new book by systems thinker and author Zaid Hassan. His argument is direct: in complex systems, strategy-as-planning is not just ineffective – it’s a form of malpractice. Millions spent on workshops that produce documents, not real change, is a pattern too many of us recognise.

This is territory we know well. At Climate KIC, we work in what we call the “messy middle” — the uncertain, often unpredictable space between climate ambition and climate reality. We don’t believe you can plan your way through that space. You have to practice your way through it. Zaid’s work puts that conviction into sharp, rigorous focus. We think it’s essential reading for anyone working in climate innovation, systems change, or public and private sector transformation.

Climate KIC and Ten in Ten are proud to host the Copenhagen dates of Zaid’s global book tour. Across two days at BLOXHUB (Bryghuspladsen 8) there are three ways to engage with his work — from a full-day hands-on workshop to a public evening lecture and an intimate author dinner.
