Masterclass Series: Strengthening ESOs & Startups for Sustainable Impact

As part of the Nurturing Entrepreneurship Support Organisations and Start-ups for AI-driven Climate Action programme, in partnership with the Salesforce Foundation, Climate KIC is offering a dedicated masterclass series this autumn to support ESOs in designing and delivering high-impact, climate-focused innovation programmes.

The sessions provide an in-depth exploration of four core themes: adaptation and resilience, circularity, impact measurement, and inclusion. Each session combines expert knowledge with practical approaches. Registration is free and open to all, with a particular focus on the ESO community.

The Masterclass Series is part of Climate KIC’s collaboration with Salesforce to strengthen the capacity of ESOs and start-ups to accelerate climate solutions with measurable, sustainable impact.

Designing Adaptation and Resilience Business Models

7 October 2025, 15:00 CET, online

This session will explore the role of climate adaptation and resilience in driving innovative solutions. Through the webinar, participants will gain a clear understanding of fundamental concepts and their relevance for businesses, as well as the various ways innovations can address risks through resilience, and adaptation. The session will also introduce adaptation and resilience (A&R) business models, the types of customers they target, and conclude with insights into different business model archetypes, providing a practical perspective on applying these ideas in the market.

Embedding Circularity in the Programs for ESOs

Embedding Climate Impact Measurement into Programs and Methodologies

This masterclass will explore how ESOs can integrate climate impact measurement into programme design and delivery. It will demonstrate how impact modules can be embedded across different stages of accelerator programmes, covering mitigation, adaptation and resilience, and circularity. The session offers practical guidance for enhancing methodologies and ensuring initiatives deliver tangible value and visibility. Participants will leave with actionable insights to design and run more impactful climate innovation activities.

Inclusive Programme Design for ESO's

Inclusive Programme Design for ESO’s

This session on Inclusive Programme Design will provide ESOs with the skills and insights needed to create, implement and measure inclusive climate entrepreneurship programmes. Addressing the intersection of climate change and social justice, the masterclass will highlight how ESOs can integrate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) into their activities while setting measurable outcomes that contribute to systemic change. The session offers a foundation for incorporating DEI principles, ensuring that diverse and at-risk communities have equitable opportunities to participate in and benefit from climate innovation. Participants will also receive practical guidance on inclusive programme design and tailored KPIs to support the development of impactful and sustainable initiatives that reflect the principles of inclusive climate entrepreneurship.
