The German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e.V.) is a private, independent and non-profit research provider. With around 150 member companies from the food industry and related fields, DIL operates as a research institute working in the areas of food structure and food processing, development and assessment of sustainable food products and processes as well as analytics for authentic food. DIL considers placing itself into the innovation framework of Climate KIC as the unique opportunity to support its partners in innovation processes in food systems.
