Low carbon opportunities in Europe’s building sector

The first analysis of deep retrofit in Europe, the Building Market Briefs presents a survey of Europe’s building sector value chain.

The building sector is in need of comparable, pan-European data to support a low-carbon economy. Up until now, this information was incomplete and fragmented, hindering the uptake of new innovations and technologies. We deliver the missing pieces in the Building Market Briefs: condensed per country.

Looking at energy related decisions, analysing drivers and barriers and evaluating the market potential of a climate-neutral building park, the Brief outlines trends in construction and building technology and information on the influence of regulatory developments in building requirements and labels.

These reports aim to foster the uptake of new low-carbon innovations and technologies in Europe amongst low carbon technology & innovation suppliers, such as large corporates, SMEs, and spin-offs, as well as country/EU policy makers and property investors.
