Climate-KIC is the EU’s largest public private partnership addressing climate change through innovation to build a net zero-emissions economy.
We aim to transform whole systems through innovation to build resilience and decarbonize at a fast-enough rate to reach the 1.5° target and a net-zero emissions Europe. Climate-KIC has refocused its strategy around systems transformation to reach impact at scale. Our approach is based on building an active and diverse community of organisations all working together; a careful analysis of the key levers at play across different systems (e.g. cities, land use, industry, and finance); and finally, a commitment to experimentation and rapid prototyping (to become the fastest learning organisation in the area of climate).

Purpose of the role
You will be responsible for research, active collecting of data, analysis of relevant information and knowledge management.
• Actively develops the information database, consisting of data relevant for the development of partnership as well as useful for building new projects within the existing network of partners: projects completed, lessons learnt, know-how Climate-KIC network experts, interests of Climate-KIC partners, etc.
• Manages the data within adequate systems, allowing for easy and efficient access and storage.
• Proactively develops and updates CEE analytic database on the important stakeholders, potential areas of intervention, allies / competitors, desired partners, local innovators, connections with existing C-KIC partners and initiatives, etc.
• Tracks the development of adequate developments in the innovation area from the region and globally,
• Develops adequate reports and presentations, or other information materials.
• University degree (masters or PhD) in relevant field
• More than 3 years of experience in relevant context
• Experience of working at the interface between public and private sector
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven ability to research and gather data from multiply sources and available in multiply languages, as well as strong skills in making connections and organizing knowledge
• Familiarity with the skills and knowledge needs of organizations working on climate change adaptation and mitigation
• Experience and ability to work in an international team and in multidisciplinary context
• Fluent in Polish and English, additional CEE languages will be a strong asset.
