OOLUX

A new generation solar kit

Climate-KIC Start-Up

Founding Year: Planned before the end of 2015

Location: Geneva, Switzerland

OOLUX solar power kits replace energy sources which pose a risk to the environment and the health of people living in areas without access to electricity.

The solar power kits are made of high quality components in order to survive the harsh weather conditions in rural areas. Furthermore, there is a micro-credit finance system available which allows the customer to acquire an OOLUX kit and pay for it in instalments over several months. The financial instalments are covered by the savings made on daily energy expenses. After the power kit has been paid off, the customer owns it which allows him to save money in future. The unique leasing and distribution model makes the OOLUX solar power kits available and affordable for everyone. This gives rise to positive social, economic and health impacts.
