JungleBar makes food products with edible insects.
Our mission is to normalize edible insects in the Western world, as it is one of the most sustainable sources of animal protein available.
The first product is Jungle Bar, the insect powered nutritional bar, and is now available online at www.junglebar.co. The bar is made with all sorts of seeds, fruits, chocolate and cricket flour. It is a well-balanced snack, free from dairy, soy, gluten and peanuts.
Jungle Bar was launched on Kickstarter in early 2015, and it raised $ 27,806 to produce the first batch. It has been featured in several media outlets e.g. BBC – Daily Mail – Wired – Yahoo News & more.
