Cohere sells charge points for electric vehicles and everyday we hear from customers that they have to upgrade their electrical grid connection to be able to charge their car fast at home or at the office. This costs them at least €700 per year in fixed costs. That is why we have developed a controller that dynamically adjusts the charging power according to the available grid connection power. This means fast charging without overloading and at a fraction of the costs of an upgrade.
Next to this it is also possible to connect renewable energy sources, for instance from solar or wind. By adjusting the charging power according to available local renewable energy the business case for these systems drastically improve.
