Take part in this year’s two-week Climate-KIC PhD Summer School from 20 September until 2 October 2015 in Valencia, Spain

This two-week intensive programme focuses on how to address barriers to implement innovative solutions in the multi-stakeholder environment of the City of Valencia, analysing the status quo and challenges of measurement and assessment of Green House Gas emissions; explore niche solutions/experiments on the micro level (buildings) and integrated systemic approaches.

icons-09Sustainable solutions to reduce the impact of carbon footprint

This Summer School offers a learning-by-doing approach to innovations related to building technologies, sustainable city systems, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency and GHG emissions measurement and assessment applied to the City of Valencia as a port and tourist Mediterranean city.

Students will work on real city challenges that are proposed by hosting entities, particularly from the City Council aiming at developing the Valencia 2020 Strategy for smart and sustainable growth.

You will work in groups in a real-life setting, consult with innovation stakeholders, discuss with decision makers and be accompanied by coaches that provide guidance and ensure learning outcomes of the School.
