Climate-KIC invites partners to submit their innovation proposals

The second call for 2016 Pathfinder projects is launched with deadline for submission on 10 June 2016.

Climate-KIC invites and aims to support its partner community to investigate Innovation opportunities which address the challenges and priorities of its 4 thematic areas:

The mission of Climate-KIC is to bring together, inspire and empower a dynamic community to build a zero carbon economy and climate resilient society. We aim to combat climate change with product and service innovation opportunities that can be subsequently exploited to produce innovations.

The role of a Pathfinder project is to confirm an innovation opportunity, to match the supply side discoveries and the demand-side needs. Pathfinder projects are encouraged to develop a business model that shows the supply- and demand-side nexus can be matched. By exploiting this opportunity a successful project could “leapfrog” to our Accelerator programme to validate that business model.

We encourage our Climate-KIC community of partners to start developing their ideas.

This Call for Project proposals is open only to Climate-KIC partners. If you are interested in joining our partner network and share our vision, please contact our local Climate-KIC offices in your Region.
