Innovation Building Block – Successful innovation through customer insight

DATE
24 Nov 2015

Learn how to integrate the needs and wants of your clients and end-users to maximise product development success.

The objective of this Building Block is to support the Climate-KIC Innovation community to gain a thorough understanding of the needs and wants of their end-users and clients, increasing the likelihood that those customers will, in turn, demand the resulting products and services.

Through a blend of coaching, team-based exercises and case-studies, participants will integrate the tools and techniques of end-user insight into a structured innovation process.

Learning objectives

After following this Building Block, participants will:

  • Be familiar with some of the tools and methods that are available for gathering and analysing end-user insight
  • Hear about real-life experiences of using customer insight to achieve success in leading organisations
  • Be able to apply these techniques to any challenge in their organisation, leading to leaner systems, and more profitable outcomes
  • Have considered the first steps to implementation of these methods, and be ready to activate these on return to their company
