Innovation Building Block – Creative and effective ideation

DATE
09 Oct 2015

Learn how to apply ideation effectively to maximise the impact of your project!

This workshop will support you to extend your knowledge on methodologies and best practice for ideation, in order to develop high quality project ideas for your project proposal.

Learning objectives

The Building Block will focus on the 4 main drivers of being creative: methodological competence, team collaboration, setting up an enabling environment and behaviour change. After following this Building Block, participants will learn:

  • Methodological competence: Be familiar with creative processes and useful and speedy methods and tools, through hands-on exercises.
  • Team collaboration: Understand and be able to implement the rules of collaboration and be able to visualise thoughts in a quick and clear way.
  • Enabling environment: Be able to differentiate phases in creative work and understand how to adjust the space for each. They will also know how to use different analogue and digital tools that facilitate creative and collaborative work.
  • Behaviour change: Be able to put these instructions into practice in their own environment and internalise the newly acquired knowledge. This process will be supported by a 3-week email follow-up, where participants will be provided with short reads, receive small tasks and share their actions in the team.

Session Leader
