The Climate-KIC Smart Agriculture Technologies & Services Business Competition is now open! Enter and compete for a chance to win a €25.000 Climate-KIC Knowledge Voucher!

Climate-KIC in cooperation with the CSA Booster organizes a Business Competition in the Agricultural sector. We are looking for companies who have climate resilient and/or climate friendly – Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA-) – solutions and invite them to enter and compete in the competition for a chance to win a €25.000 knowledge voucher to boost their project.

Who is it for? 

For entrepreneurs with innovative ideas, solutions or technology in the field of climate-proof and climate-friendly agricultural production (CSA) – in two sectors:
1. The European (milk) livestock
2. The European orchards and fruit

Vouchers for knowledge

Companies that fit the bill are encouraged to submit their idea for the Climate-KIC SME Voucher Competition 2015, which has been initiated to connect knowledge experts with entrepeneurs from Small to Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Take advantage of this opportunity and use the knowlegde of our network for the development of your business. The winner can use the voucher to set-up a research project with one of our European partners to give your project the boost it needs!

When?

Applicants who are selected are invited to come pitch their ideas or project proposal during the Climate-KIC & CSA Booster business competition held in the first week of October at Wageningen University in the Netherlands.

After the deadline our expert jury will select the 5-10 best applications who are invited to pitch their ideas during the SME Business Event in October. We want to stress that your submission needs to fit the focus of the day’s event, and we want you to really think about your projects strengths, weaknesses and relevance to climate change. Winning the voucher should bring your project one step closer to success.

CSA Booster is a network of companies and research institutes facilitated by Climate-KIC. The booster is aimed specifically at bringing new solutions to market that have a positive impact on Europe’s agricultural sector.
