The Swiss Energy and Climate Summit (SwissECS) is Switzerland’s leading conference for energy and climate issues. Every year, over 800 decision-makers from industry, the energy, finance, insurance and construction sectors and representatives of NGOs, the Swiss government and cantons take part in the two-day event hosted in the City of Bern.
This year, Climate-KIC is a science partner of the event. Meet our DACH director Dominic Hofstetter at a “Deep Dive Session” on CO2 as a resource, together with Robert Niven (CEO and Founder of Carbon Cure). Other SwissECS speakers include Ban Ki-Moon (former UN Secretary-General), Christiana Figueres (Executive Secretary UNFCCC 2010-2016), Michael Liebreich (Chairman of the Advisory Board Bloomberg New Energy Finance) and Benoît Revaz (Director of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy SFOE).
The SwissECS showcases the cutting-edge technologies from energy and environmental technology that are playing a key role in helping us mitigate and adapt to climate change.
