Climate-KIC Nordic, co-located at Denmark’s Technical University in Lyngby, is coordinating input to this major conference, which began at the initiative of a number of major European research projects and other stakeholders in 2014. The conference will cover a broad range of issues related to climate change adaptation placing a greater emphasis on understanding and assessing adaptation in action.

We will contribute to the programme with two workshops. One that aims to foster entrepreneurial activities in climate change adaptation by inspiring entrepreneurs and scientists to take up the opportunities presented by climate adaptation, and to identify sources of business and knowledge support, by letting some of our start-ups related their experiences. The second will present real life stories of business partnerships – clients and providers from our comunity – which are already succeeding in the market of adaptatation.

Amanda Cockroft, Deputy Director of Innovation will give a keynote in the closing session which will highlight that tackling climate change will need innovation.

Our stand (E nord011) at the conference exhibition will promote our start up companies and the Adaptation theme demonstrating how we support education, entrepreneurship and innovation to take up the challenge of climate change.

Full programmes for our sessions can be found on the conference website:
