Accelerating the implementation of the Paris Agreement

One year since the historic COP21 summit in Paris, The world meets in Marrakesh, Morocco, to work on the implementation of the Paris Agreement on climate change.

Although the ratification of the agreement has proceeded at unprecedented speed and has beat all expectations, the world’s ambition is only strengthening. During COP22, Climate-KIC organised side-events during the summit and participated in discussions about the role of innovation, cross-sector collaboration and scalability in accelerating the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

Climate innovation

We address climate change across four priority themes: urban areas, land use, production systems, and decision metrics and finance. Education is at the heart of these themes to inspire and empower the next generation of climate leaders. Find out more about the events we’re organised and the announcements we made below or contact us at .
